The PARMA PROT Co. Ltd. (OOO PARMA PROT) has been founded in July 2004 by the Russian PARMA and the Hungarian companies PROTECTA and PROLAN. The joint venture registered in Saint Petersburg has the main aim to distribute the protective devices made by Protecta and the devices of the Supervisory and Control System made by Prolan on the Russian market, and to provide technical support exploiting the synergies between PARMA which is well known on the Russian market and the activities of the Hungarian founder companies.
The results of the activities of the Company were several developments performed by Protecta to produce devices meeting the different requirements of the Russian market. These devices acquired Certificates of the Russian authorities for application in the Russian electric power system.
